School's (Almost) Out

The end of the school year approaches and the Junior Friends have been busy. We had our 2nd annual change jar drive which raised around $200 for the scholarship fund. The JFOLers participated in Relay for Life for the first time. And our seniors are graduating!

Here the Junior Friends are enjoying the fruits of their labors after the change jar drive. Our local Subway restaurant provided the team with the most money with free lunch. Thanks, Subway!

This is the first year the Junior Friends participated in Relay for Life. We had a little tent, a little rain, and a lot of hula hoops.

Congratulations to our graduating seniors! From left to right: JFOL Sponsor, Mary Weatherholt, Ginny Ivins, Yi Ren, Tricia Geisenburg and Tommy Riherd. Each of the seniors received a scholarship and certificate. Good luck!

Well, that's all for now. The library is in the process of moving, so things are hectic here. But keep an eye out for information on our teen summer programs!
